This is the bike I grew up riding in the early 90's, my dad traded an air compressor for it and we fixed it up together. Learned a lot on it. Guys on modern water cooled would scoff until they saw it ride.
I must admit that Bike sounds great. I’m old enough to remember when this bike was introduced brand new. I think 2k brand new? Sometimes I find myself unjustly being critical of big bore bikes. I need to remind myself that one of the reasons my CR250 was a rocket was because I was 15yrs old and weighted 147lbs. Wide open on a perfect 1 mile straightaway on PA. RR property I was clocked at 77mph. I would love to get back into Trail riding but there’s just no place to ride anymore.
The only bike I've ever rode in the 70's that was better than my then current riding ability was a Can Am 250mx. I've rode Maico, Bultaco, Montesa, TM's, YZ's and CR's and nothing came close to the CanAm. Breath taking.
I had a 1980 Can Am 125MX6 ...was behind a bit technologically in '80, but still fast and a blast to ride! it's crazy, but even thoiugh thaty's a 370 and mine was a 125, the engines sound VERY similar!
Hopefully I can someday get this bike it’s freaking siiick!!! I wish Canon would definitely make motocross bikes today and especially quads come on Can-Am please return to quads and dirt bikes
I have this bike with an mx6 250 engine in it. Lots of fun. Finally my dad gave me the bike. Wonder if Ken can rebuild the 370 engine that I have in a box
