Had one back in the day. It was a light switch. Hard to ride in the woods by the way. At least for me. Point it gas it. Hang on. Haha.

Sweet bike. I had one that very same back in the day. Loved that bike! It even had the air shocks up front. Everything else was stock except for the Renthal bars and Boysen reeds. It was a blast to ride, I wish I still had it.

Paied 400$ for mine. All it needed was a new carb. Came with a truck hauler thingy too

The '79 Suzuki and the '79 Yamaha were both more popular than the Honda. If you went to a local race in SoCal in 1979, if there were twenty 250s on the starting line eight of them were YZs, eight were RMs, two were CRs and maybe a KX and a Maico or Husky made up the rest. I'll admit that the CR was the best looking of the Japanese bikes, but back in the '70s the Honda dealerships were way more into selling Gold Wings than motocross bikes. Out in the SoCal desert the Yamahas and Husqvarnas absolutely ruled. No Hondas to be seen out there.
