Proof positive most road riders are sh1t scared of their front brake. Reminds me of a great road ride I had twenty years ago. My Guzzi 1000S vs a mate on his Kawka ZX10. 20km of blissful 3rd, 4th gear sweepers on the mighty Kopu-Hikuai. Nothing in it at the end. The Guzzi had to keep humming over 6k rpm mind.

They don’t like it when they see that skinny back tyre go past them,- do they? Shades of a certain MK 2 at Phillip Island in the late 90’s -many of the then current crop of go fast boys on their new whizz bangers fell victim to the Metzeler 110/90 voodoo - couldn’t shake the 500 4 cylinder 2 stroke Yammie off though! Bugger!!

You should take that guy’s Ducati! Put him on your bike! I’ve run into guys like that on the track. They bought the Ducati and wear it like a Rolex. A new Ducati is for right now! It’s to be used as it was intended, not saved for what. Yes, they’re expensive, but so what. Tomorrow you’ll be old, and you will regret not having actually ridden the Ducati. That guy should be riding a generic Japanese inline 4. They’re everywhere used and cheap. There are probably more than a few for sale at that track. Fine motorcycles all, but not sublime.
