Getting ready to install same engine in my V8 80Z, besides your motor mounts did you have any other fitment issues, Carb Height to Hood, Water Pump, Alt, AC etc.
Water pump, alternator etc were no problem. I did have to use a drop base air cleaner to clear the hood. It's very close with the intake that comes on this engine. Even 1/4 inch higher and the wing nut would hit the hood.
Thats my main concern, I've got the Air induction hood that I'd like to keep on it. I'm probably going to delete the AC due to its just an HP drain, and it's been a leaker for years. Thanks for the reply I may be asking a couple of other questions as the project moves on.@@JackofAllMasterofNone
