DAMN nice truck. I know every one wants to run 3" duals BUT YOU HAVE TO TAKE NOTE "If your turning less than 450-500HP to the fly then do not run 3's all the way "Im sure this BB is pushing around that so all good.. just for every one else that thinks they need 3" pipes you better be throwing down some HP

Flowmaster 40 series 2 chamber, 3" in 3" out true duals with H pipe and pipes turned down before rear axle. But...the mufflers only do so much, this was a healthy 468 Big Block with Hooker 2" primary Long Tube Headers that were jet hot coated..making for a complete exhaust package that sounded awesome.

That Sportside Truck is so COOL, I was so blown away by the good taste, it was very well done, Perfect , the ZR-1 roll pan(awesome...)very clean and bold, sound absolutely strong, I dreamed with that Truck man, I saw myself in it, Sat night shining at night as I drove past and my ex wife dreaming she was still married with me so she could be inside that Stepside...America at it's Best, lovely shape these Trucks! Great Color(Orange) 15x10 Chevy Rallies wheels in it would be just Magic...

i love it i have one just like it only mine is not finished yet and its black 15x8s in the front and 15x10s in the rear 542 cid rat motor near 600 horses th700r4 but i havent had the money to finish it yet the shell was given to me and i already had the 454 from my dads previous suburban i want to finish it so bad.

its been years since i owned this truck. I think that cam was one of the first Mutha Thumpr cams from Comp. Those headers were 2" primary Hooker Super Comp long tubes. I had them Jet Hot coated. that has a lot to do with how good it sounds for sure.

@B.T.W 01 I regret how much more its worth now!! But i've had many trucks and projects since then that keep me occupied. I keep in touch with the new owner and enjoy seeing it thrive with him. He's converted it to a fleetwide and it looks awesome

seats and console came out of a 90s chevy van. Shifter was a B&M but not sure which...been many years since selling this truck

My step dad has a '66 ford with no rust. Needs a new paint and a new carb(just started leaking a few weeks ago.) Has a 460 big block and if he gives it to me,i am going to put on an 8 pack or 2 4 barrels on it.

this truck retained the stock 10 bolt just had a 4.10 gear and rebuild and all was fine. The key is tires...these are huge but since they were MT sportmans and not DOT slicks it would spin. 10 bolt may not do well w/ a sticky tire.

nope...just the proper measuring before buying wheels. Those were 15x12 Weld Racing wheels w/ a 12.50" wide Mickey Thompson Tire. finger width room to the inside and outside, so that's the most tire that would fit.

hey im building my own 82 chevy with a 468 and a turbo 400 trans and was wondering what did u do for the rear end i have the stock 10 bolt and was going to add the posi kit and 3.73 gears and was wonderin if that would hold up

Just get a roll pan rear from STYLING TRUCKS.. unless you have a BREAK AND ROLLER for body work.. they have alot of styles that bolt on

MAC Cap its been a long time...but i do remember it was a 15X12 Weld Prostar with the perfect backspacing/offset to tuck right under the stepside fender. i believe the tire was a 31x12.50 mickey thompson sportsman tire.
