I love that era of the banana swing arm which was on a lot on rebuilds of the iconic Yamaha HL 500s with the 1976 YZ125 tank repainted badass bikes. This bike is also Ultra cool I just got sidetracked with the banana swing arm LOL🤙

One badass and gorgeous 2 stroke vintage MXer. Love the sound of it. I had no idea that the vintage Elsinore CR 125's had red painted engines. I thought that the Elsinore CR 250 Red Rockets were the only bikes, in that lineup, that had red painted engines.

Great bike. I had it new in 1980. I was 16. My father was a Honda motorcycle dealer. Taught me to ride at 5.

I remember spectating at a motocross in 1980 New Zealand ,and there was two brand new CR125 's racing , they looked really modern , both of them had aftermarket seat covers that were non grained black satin ,cant remember who made those.

Had one in 5th grade. My neighbor sold it to me. Looking back, it may have been, unknowingly borrowed. Loved that bike. It was an upgrade from an XL 70.
