Bought one of these right out of the shop , drove over to my friends place with it to surprise him , and when I opened the back of my van to shock him , he opened the shop door and he also just came home with a brand new 81 125 . We loaded up and went to a local track to break them in . Awesome times , really fun bike .

I loved my 81 CR125. Mine was .080 over, DG exhaust, ported, it was quick for what it was. These were the first year for water cooled & mono shock. Last year it was called the Elsinore. This thing is gorgeous.

Loved my 81 too. One thing I’ll always remember is you could burn your leg dang easy on that bike lol

Yes had 81 125 also they say never buy first yr model, how dumb were they LOL best cr up to that day

Had one in awesome condition back in mid 80s bike had few hrs no dings dent or scratches was like 4 yrs old low hrs kid had it on his dads fam basically ripped up cow pastures not sure it ever made a jump LOL paid 900 bucks and had it like 3 yrs was great bike.

Such a beautiful bike ! Something special .. S/S … about these CR’ s back in the day ✌🏼 My best memories. I begged my mother to buy my buddies 81 beat to death but that thing ripped! Cops impounded it for riding on main roads. Yeah ,, main roads in the early 80’s !! Imagine that. Never got it back because mom said it was trouble 😂😂😂 it definitely was trouble
