some of those caps were over 20% out and the ESR was quite high even on some of the ones that were close to specified value. I've never really seen teh point in testing caps. If they're nearly 50 years old, just change them. New caps (good ones anyway) generally have better chemistry. I don't believe that recapping fixes everything but they're going to fail at some point.
