Really good album. Atrophy's first in 34 years which might be a record lol. New Morbid Saint Swallowed By Hell is my favorite thrash album of 2024 so far though. Looking forward to Evildead's new album Toxic Grace coming out in May. 2024 is looking like another great year for thrash metal.🤘
Great video. Thrash was my first introduction to metal because of early Metallica. But I had not strayed beyond the most well known Thrash bands. Thank you for these recommendations.
Killer video bro!! Awesome albums, the only one of these i have is on OG of Sentinal Beast, i do have a Heathan album but not an early one!! Awesome job, cheers brother 👍🤘🤘
Thanks buddy. I appreciate it. Sometimes I get very nervous and self-conscious about showing my reissues. Then I remind myself that when these albums all came out I was only between 8:00 and 12 years old. So a lot of the stuff I had to copy from friends who had cassettes. I sometimes get self-conscious. People are going to think I was ripping off the artists. Lol. As a kid I collected as much as possible on vinyl and on cassette tape from my favorite bands, but some of the bands I'm going to show in the series I liked but they weren't favorites so I just had to copy on cassette
Powermad I think is and underrated band . I remember getting a 4 song EP from them in the 80s and loved it ! Also a band a bunch of folks are split on is Xentrix ,the album For Whose Advantage I really like even though its not balls to the wall thrashy like Slayer , I still think was rad .Plus they had a hilariously awesome version of the Ghostbusters theme song lol ! And yes Heathen is fire too !!
@@Brando-Lee3725 I we'll have to check out PowerMad. I don't think I've ever heard them before. I'm a huge heathen fan was able to see heathen in concert not too long ago. Here in Atlanta they were opening for symphony x I went to see heathen then left. I love Xentrix as well. All of their albums are awesome. Even the new one is great
@@headbangerscloset8552 check out the video by Powermad and the song is Terminator . It is a pretty introduction to he band . Hunter Seeker is another good one by them , but that whole 4 song EP is great .
