Dick enberg and Merlin Olsen was the best football announcers ever.

The last game the Bengals wore those uniforms. Worn those uniforms again in 1994.

Underrated game historically

This was one of my favorite games of all time in Browns history My hats off to Pat Mcinally for taking a massive hit and coming back into the game and caught a long TD pass,back when Men played Real Football! Shame someone had to lose a game like this.

Forrest Gregg was the Browns head coach from 1975-1977.

7:33 That hit was legal until this particular season. Unsportsmanlike Conduct penalty starting with this season. Now - an ejection, fine & likely a 6-10 game suspension.

1:45:33 Never realized that the Bengals' change to the tiger stripe helmets had already been decided upon before the 1980 season had ended. Always assumed this was an off-season development.

This Bengals team already looked like the '81 Super Bowl team. Only two key players were missing -- Ken Anderson and Cris Collinsworth.

Today thom Darren will get throw out of the game and pat McNally wouldn't be allowed to get back in the game

Forest Greg coached the browns 75 to 77 the Sam came. He coached pretty good with the browns. Allways 8 and 8 9an7. But never got them in the playoffs. Pittsburg was the team those yrs. Cincy playoffs wild card and houston oilers. Toughest division in football even back then.

Went to jr high school with M L HARRIS. INDIANOLA JR HIGH COLUMBUS OHIO. BACK IN 1969. HE WAS A HELL OF A BASKETBALL PLAYER THERE . HE LATER WENT TO NORTH HIGH. I MOVED TO HAMILTON TOWNSHIP

I WILL NEVER forget this game NOR the caption flashing across the screen after the game -- CLEVELAND BROWNS 1980 AFC Central Division Champs! Go BROWNS 2022!

Those bengals helmets make it seem like the browns were playing themselves if you watched this game from afar, glad they changed to the much better striped helmet in 81

For the Browns, this is the game after they lost a heartbreaker to the Vikings on the last play of the game. We call it The Miracle at the Met here. The joy I felt in that moment at ten years old is hard to describe.
