1981 McDonald's commercial: Midnight at McDonald's. This has always been my favorite McDonald's ad. Features Ronald McDonald, Grimace, The Hamburglar, Captain Crook, Birdie, the Fry Guys and the Hamburgers.
My very favourite McDonald's commercial ever!!!😊😊😊The BEST!!! Sometimes I used to hear it in my dreams as I was awakening, the little jingle at the end..."now you know what happens... at Mcdonalds every night... doo -do-do-doo😊☺😊love it!!!😊
I remember all of these ads from McDonalds when I little (despite I was born in 1993 and I wasn't around in the 80s). But I do very much miss the older original McDonalds restaurant building designs. And all of the family friendly joy that people and kids come in to eat and having a good time. But now those years are DEAD!!! nowadays the newer McDonalds commercials and restaurants aren't so much family or kid friendly anymore. Now they all advertise for a more "young adult" demographic. Man, again I wish they still had the original McDonalds that I grew up with.
@animehunter23 Correct. McDonald's Revamped The McDonaldLand Characters In The Late 80's. Mayor McCheese, Officer Big Mac, Captain Crook, Were Retired.
@animehunter23 They were called the Goblins when I was around ten, eleven, and twelve, and that was in the early 1980s. I'm 42 now. It's possible, however, that their name changed for Canadian television, since I grew up in, and still live, in Canada.
Either that man and woman who are employed at McDonalds work 18-hour shifts (6AM?-12AM), or they work both late night and early shifts off and on where McDonalds only gave them both 6 hours (less than?) of sleep! Maybe that McDonalds opens at 9AM.
@animehunter23 Notice The Difference Between The Old Characters And The New. Towards The Late 90's McDonald's Brought Back The Mayor And Added Ronald's Dog, Sundae. In 2003 McDonald's Did Away With McDonaldland And Kept Ronald As Chief Of Happiness.
Believe me, I have had my share of experiences working for jerks so I can see where your sister is coming from! Luckily, I now have a position at Saint Barnabas Hospice and everyone I work with is very nice!
God how I miss those McDonald's buildings with the shingle roof and the white metal things (I called them straws when I was little) that lit up and the old signage. The new design is horrible. Too sterile looking.
