Jack Frisbee discusses events that led to the 1981 OCCC prison shakedown.
Jack witnessed major events being on the inside that led to prison officials investigating for weapons and other contraband.
From swords to guns, there was a cache of weapons taken. There were also prisoner abuses that took place.
Being transferred to Halawa prison during the shakedown. Having been locked down 24/7, forced to deal with and come to grips with who he was and what he has done to get there. More importantly, what was done to him to get there.
While in Halawa, being threatened by the Halawa goons and having to stand toe to toe with guards who didn’t like him, but definitely knew him!
Halawa is a village in Kohala.
Halawa Correctional Facility is a state prison in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

This is the other side, the bad side. The corrupt side. The violent side. The criminal side. The tie to the mainland underworld that brought shady characters, under these sunny skies.
The undergird of what most see and experience as paradise is merely a living hell for others.
