Washington's offense was really moving in the first quarter and some of the second . If not for a couple of mistakes they should have had a 14 to 0 lead before Michigan even scored.
@@johnevans5434 No there weren't. Which ones? In the first quarter 5:25 the Husky player fumbled at the goal line and it was called correct. The next one 13:20 I agree the player may NOT have been down, but the only reason the other guy wasn't tackled was because Michigan heard the whistle and gave up on the play.
Yeah. Right. You better check the records, because you're as wrong as wrong gets. BTW? Sorry (NOT) that we've been beating up on your buckeyes. And sorry (NOT) that Michigan has the better record.... _Not to mention the most wins of ANY school in college ball._
Big Ten did well in the 90s too. Michigan beat Washington and Washington State. Penn State beat Oregon. Wisconsin won a couple Rose Bowls at the end of the decade. Ohio State beat ASU. Big Ten did well in the 90s.
@35:45 How was this not a TD? And how was Washington's first TD not a fumble? These refs had some serious Pac-10 bias. Or was it still Pac-8 at the time?
@@allengreene9954 true. But at least Oklahoma and Nebraska made things interesting w the wishbone. But the reason why osu and Michigan would flop in the rose bowl is because the Pac 8/10 schools had passing games. So all they had to do was contain the run.
