I was there...42 degrees...felt much colder. Jets finally turned things around in 1981 and were a competitive team through 1988 Former horrible head coach Dave Shula is in this game for the Colts

The Colts went 2-14 here in 1981, then 0-8-1, in the strike shortened 9 game 1982 season 😢

Why did they keep starting Richard Todd, he wasn't that good even when not injured. Should have put Pat Ryan in. Oh well, at least the Jets won this one.

If you're talking about the 34-0 win against Tampa Bay, I believe that was in the Bucs' inaugural 0-14 season - in 1977. I was at that game.

The 1981 Colts still hold the record for most points given up in a season with 533. By comparison the 2021 Jets, the worst defense in the NFL this year, gave up 504 points (with an extra game)
