1982 Week 12 - Green Bay at N.Y. Jets 

Thank you for this game. It's not so much the "game" that is the memory. That time of my life was very good one second then tragically slammed the next. Please don't get me wrong I mean no disrespect or anything close to that. My Grandparents helped raise me, and my Grandfather was a huge role model for me as a boy. He was strong, yet gentle, and always always had time for you. In 1982 the Brewers went to the World Series. I was a baseball nut. My life was "beginning". In 82 I was now just turning 15. Time for baseball, fun, and high school. Not enough time for the man who always always had time for me. The Brewers lost the Series. But what happened on November 13th was nothing I could have seen coming. My Grandpa had a massive heart attack and died. I lost a LOT of time after that. Depression and anger. Pissed off at me for not being there. Just angry at life. I missed a lot of things. Packer games that year, a blur. Everything that year became a blur. Now I have a chance to sit and see what I missed. Thank you for that. I was never ever good with death. I wasn't equipped to deal. That is a recipe for disaster. No matter what, TALK to your children about it. Don't let it be a pain that can become a serious problem. Sorry for the massive comment, and the downer⚠️alert⚠️but finally I found some peace. Except now I am the one facing it. I have the same disease that took my Mom. So again it while my thanks aren't going to make anyone do flips, I hope 🙏 that someone reads it, and helps someone else.
