Great job. I am in the middle 9f my 1982 xt250 restoration. It took a lot of muratic acid to clean the tank, and sourcing parts on ebay. It runs... but can't wait to restore it like yours!
Good work, thanks for sharing it with us. One thing I noticed, the little metal under the nuts of the rear sprocket are supposed to be bent, so that the metal secures the nuts.
@@donovanlucibello379 Rebuilding the carb was the most in-depth part. I disassembled it and soaked it in CLR for a day then B12 chemtool, sparkled after that. count the number of turn in the fuel screw is set to before you remove it. Made that mistake... Let me know if hit a snag, I think I hit every problem on this bike you could think of.
@@moophasa123 We have chatted before. Any info on how to get the shift shaft realigned? The manual *almost* explains how to do it. Can only shift between 1st & Neutral, but not out of 1st.
