That bike was so fast,For a 250,I raced a yamaha 500lc on mine.I did not win.But it was close,Ish.I was better in the corners and roundabouts.2 friends of mine died when x7 came out.another good suzuki,GT125,A screamer,super high RPM,125/185 not much in it.my 125 ate a honda 400/4 for breakfast.
2nd august, 1979 v plate, white 2 wheels, was fast, LC bouts, won, lost, they had straight line edge, thought the new styling, lost it, nothing to improve performance, however nice example, the 78-80 rawdog!
Awesome resto job, I owned one of these back in 1980,bought it new,cracked 105 mph on most outings.the same colours,how did you get the decals so perfect,this could be my old baby.well done.
thanks , regarding the seat the guy that bought the bike new every detail and was very particular , it is the seat that came on the bike that had been laid up for years .
Missed out on a blue x7 back in 2012 and was fully restored for €1000 and I am absolutely gutted now I didn't buy it and now you would pay €3000 or more for a top condition x7.
