That bike is in fantastic condition . What a great restoration ! I've always been a four stroke fan and I was when these came out but I had a sneaking admiration for these and the Yamaha LC . My only criticism of the ,X7 was that it was a little lightly built but then I suppose that's where part of its great performance came from . Otherwise , they got it just right . Last in the long line of Suzuki 2 stroke air cooled 250s . ☺
Beautiful, had one of these bad boys myself. I will never forget riding off just after I'd handed over the cash and experiencing that power-band for the first time! After a 250 'Wet Dream', it was a revelation.
Snap. £735 on the road from Ashton Suzuki Centre. I can remember the first time I saw it in the showroom on the day of collection. I just thought "WOW!"
I had a brand new one exactly the same as this one, same colour everything and I still remember the number plate YHY 854V the only problem at the time was they put the key number on the ignition and petrol cap so anyone could wonder up to the bike get the number and get a key cut from any shoe repair shop. I filed my mine off 👍🏻
Me & a mate used to go to tiffanys nigh club in Newcastle on his white x7 & then ride back home as pissed as farts...... How I'm still alive ill never know !
