When considering replacing your convertible top and the convertible top weatherstrip on your 1983-1993 Fox Body Mustang Convertible, we recommend installing the entire kit to avoid issues down the road. This kit includes the header, left extension, right extension, left a-pillar and right a-pillar weatherstrip to seal and keep out dirt, water, moisture, and wind noise.
5-Piece Weatherstrip Kit Components:
(1) Convertible Header Weatherstrip
(1) RH Pillar Post Weatherstrip
(1) LH Pillar Post Weatherstrip
(1) RH Top Side Extension Weatherstrip
(1) LH Top Side Extension Weatherstrip
Installation Note:
- Pillar post, header, and side rail weatherstrip will require the use of 3M weatherstrip adhesive for proper installation.

could I follow this same guide to do the weatherstrips on my 01 convertible? Obviously shape aside is the process the same? can’t find any guides online for my body style

This process is designed for the 88-93, so it won't be the exact same. We'd recommend consulting someone with past experience for installing 99-04 weatherstripping.

What is the strip called that is on the rear seat glass..it seals the front windows to the rear one..I need them on both sides

I want to install a triple gauge pod in my 89 convertible GT and I'm looking to see if I should cut up a hardtop triple gauge pod or if molding a universal would be better or even molding 3 singles onto my convertible A-Pillar?

The coupe models will work but must be trimmed to fit convertible models.

If you're wondering about the placement, just align the top section of the pillar post weatherstrip with the corner of the windshield frame. It's adhered to the car with weatherstrip adhesive. -Landan
