1983 Ford Ranger 5.0 v8 Swap Episode 1- "Preparing The Ranger" 

A v8 will be cool, plenty of torque for crawling. My ranger has the four plug 2.3L, so I am planning on going the turbocharger route. It will be cool to see how your v8 does in comparison to my 2.3T when everything is done. When you finish everything up, do some driving videos. Seeing how something drives does alot to inspire people! Looking forward to E2 of the swap, and good luck on your headers fitting 😁.

that ranger is about rusted thru too..saw the screwed on metal by rear wheel and plenty rust around both rear wheels

dig it. i got a 88 2.9l 5speed 4x4 on 2inch lift. mines the same red but its really nice for factory paint.

Watching this makes me feel like I’m watching the first clover field non stop movement that makes you dizzy nice truck though I’m getting a 86 soon.

The front ends don’t come apart like the full sizes.

I really like the truck! its been a while since i've had my front end apart that far, but i think that you can pull the inner fenders and the rad. support as a single unit. It also might be easier to lower it onto jack stands or blocks. I'm the owner of the Instagram page @square_body_rangers. Keep up the good work!!!

What is the tire size? 33x10.5-15? What size is the rim? Width and back spacing? 15x8 with 4" backspacing? I gave you your 100th like.

All that work for a 88 5.0 turd that only makes 185 hp. Better off buying an 88 Turbo coupe. at least you would have more room under the hood and 200 ish hp
