Un muy buen juego!!! Las dos defensas impresionantes!! Recuerdo que se golpeaban con todas sus fuerzas. A mi gusto el mejor equipo de la década de los 80's los 49ers,solo perdieron un encuentro y ganaron el SB. Mi jugador favorito siempre a Sido Ronnie Lott. Jugadores importantes y que no se habla mucho se ellos;Solomon,Dean,Board,Hicks. Felicidad enorme en ese año!!!
I was thinking of this feud earlier and remembered the Giants beating the Niners in 85, 86 and 90 in the playoffs but forgot this one. I think of this era this was the only Niner playoff win against the Giants. 3-1 against that dynasty is incredible.

His defense literally owned Joe Montana in the playoffs, his defenses knocked Joe Montana out of two playoff games almost ending his career both times. His defensive game plan vs the no huddle Buffalo Bills in Super Bowl 25 is at the HOF museum. His defense beat the greatest show on turf. Don’t be a weirdo, every head coach needs a good QB. The reason why Tom Brady was great is he practiced every day vs Bill Belichick defenses. Bill Parcells has two rings WITH Bill Belichick. Belichick has 6 without Parcells. Case closed. @@SuperFuck it was talent, not defense. Any coach can coordinate a defense, it's about the physical and intellectual ability of the talent. Parcell picked the talent. Belichick planned the defensive scheme. If these players weren't talented the Giants would've been garbage. Bill Walsh was good at selecting talent. It's all about talent. Same with Joe Gibbs. Ditka selected good talent in the 80s to help Walter Peyton.
I cannot understand why any team would have their 1st string quarterback be the ball holder for field goals and extra points. If the kicker has a slip and hits the qb's hand, wrist or finger, there goes the season.
Lionel Manuel, Bobby Johnson, Stephen Baker, and then Mike Sherrard for five games before he got hurt. That's all the receivers I can think of in Simms 15 year career.
