I’m 14, I just bought an 84 tt600 for 250 bucks. I have plays to restore it. It runs a rides, great deal. Also do you guys know where I can by parts? Like reproduction parts?
Hi i found a way to restore the fuel tanks. Clean tank. Get some lead based marine paint( 350m). If you can in your country. Paint it with lead based paint, then you can spray it. Wont bubble anymore.
i had an '87 XT-600, i rode a friends '83 TT-600 and it blew me away at the power difference....!!!! Should of put the stock front fender on, the CR 480 front fender dont look good on it.......
Got my self a 1983 Yamaha tt600 carb is clean and has spark but still won’t start only started when I put a little bit of gas in the spark plug other then that it won’t start gas gets to the carb and to the motor but nothing
You guys did a darn darn good job that motor sounds sweet to but those motors are so awaome low torque that you almost can just idel your self down the road no need at all ro ever have to wind these bikes out like a 2 stroke no sir she will walk right up the side of a wall 😂pretty much if you keep it always in that low rpm,s never winding that old thumper out she will last another 40 years like she alrredy did the first go around they dont make them like they use to this was one very well and ment to last many years bikes in its time frame its like it was built before its time because of them be so well built yes sir guys have fun with her and treat her right she will take you anywhere you want to go and for a long long time without any problems as long as she is kept up on her small required maintenance oil filter ,oil and air cleaner and fuel filter tires once in awhile she 😂almost take you to the moon 🌙 🌚 almost 😉 nothing is impossible for her love her she will love you back 😆 lol for reals your truly THUMPER KEITH
