Paul Catalano I’m rebuilding mine. 85 Isuzu with a 2.0 G200 motor. Upgraded everything though. Exhaust, intake, rebuilt the motor. Doing body work now. Yes I do agree it’s hard to come by. It’s also hard to find parts for them. Had looked for 2.5 years just for a Radiator, finally got one.
My grandpa has one, and it seems really old, rn I need a car and I just put it on again. His functions are really well but it not looks good, seems old and bad so I have not too mich budget to fix it. So sad cause this model is really nice
I had an ‘85 PUP, metallic brow, stripper, stick with the long bed... VERY BASIC. It hauled a grand piano and the six guys it took to move it, it drove us all over New England, I loaned it to friends... no problems. However in the space of 4 years it was just a mobile junk pile... had to sell it to somebody who just wanted a farm truck on his land. The rust was pervasive and unstoppable... despite Rusty Jones treatment and yearly oil undercoating. Don’t miss it, but it did get the job done and was cheap to buy and run.
@@B0lt83SR hey! I have the same plans for my purple little 2.2 diesel 4x4. Needs some bodywork and completely new rear brakes. The rear brakes barely work
I happen to have one in... Meh condition, Been sitting in my uncle's yard for a couple of years. Doesn't have a MOT because the rear brakes are kind of... Eh. They still stop but not well. It's a manual 2.2l. has a bit of rust patches and struggles to start. It worked well as a family work-horse, But it's been mostly just sitting ever since my grandpa died.
Tengo un motor recién reparado, pistones, anillos, metales etc. Solo nesecito el aro dentado y el damper ( las dos piezas que lleva el cigüeñal en los extremos, me los robaron cuando estaba la reparación ). Alguien que me los venda ?
