Now this is a Barbie I did have back in the day. I loved her. So amazing. This was back in the day when being a business woman wearing a power suit was a rarity. Thanks for bringing back the good memories. You’re the best! 🤘😎💗
My friend had this barbie and my sis was in love with her, now I added an original one in my collection in the brunette/hispanic version and It's such a great doll! ❤ Btw originals are always the best because repros doesn't have the same preciousness! 🥰 The only one problem with original ones is the hight price, infact mine is a second hand one.
Nice review! I have one as well but I haven’t taken her out of the box yet lol. I never had her originally, but I love how they have released some of these vintage ones as repros . They may not be exactly the same but they really do have the vibe😊
Ahhhh memories! I also had this doll back in the 80's, and it seemed that every Barbie lover did own her back then as not only did she have the appeal of that changeable 'Day-To-Night' outfit, but she was so much of her time, (Though I don't remember many executive women at the time opting for a bright pink power suit! LOL .... I do remember loving those two-toned 'Chanel-y' pumps though, as they were the ultimate fashion accessory back then ... though I think they were black and beige for real life. I remember loving all her accessories... that calculator!!!) I was actually in my teens when she arrived on the scene so she (and Sweet Roses P.J.) were the very last dolls I bought from my childhood run of playing with Barbie, before I moved onto other things. I don't collect the 80's so much now but am tempted to get her again purely for nostalgic reasons... I already have the dark complected version of Day-To-Night Ken, which I bought NRFB for a song a year or two ago. But I must say I really like the presentation of this repro, even though I'm hunting for a well-priced vintage NRFB one at present. That's weird about the earrings, because in the vintage versions, (starting from Superstar in 1976 and going on into the 80's) those earrings are just on short stubby plastic posts that are removable, just like the ring was. They were a great improvement from the metal post earrings of the 60's that would turn Barbie's ears and head green! Can't remember whether there was a finished edge on the collar of that blazer, but the cut seemed a bit better for the jacket and skirt of the original. I need to get that original again to find out! 😜
What a cool Barbie😮! Enjoyed the review. I did have this Barbie when I was younger. My favorite accessory was the suitcase. Gotta love her reversible skirt😍. All your Barbie shirts are the best.
This unboxing scarred me a bit, I’ll be honest lol the earring pulling, the stitching cutting 😢 so many people would love to have one of those in pristine conditions today 🫣
