A tour de force of video compositing from Charlex.
This was produced by Charlex using the Abekas A-62 digital disk recorder. Where The Cars "You Might Think" video required multiple 1" Type C video recorders for the necessary Fill and Key elements, the Abekas A-62 allowed you to add successive analog elements, and keep the results in the digital domain. Perhaps someone else can elaborate on that.
Charlex went on to produce similar spots for Pringles and a Wine Cooler brand I don't remember at this time.
