@@Gregory-sm9pf There's no way he could've ever had this body in the modern NBA. He was a bad defensive player as it was in the '80s, imagine him trying to switch onto Luka Doncic or Steph Curry on the perimeter. He'd be targeted every possession.
@@maxdurk4624 yes defense was not part of his armour, but offense he ran the floor very well and an excellent rebounder, very physical under the boards, don't really have players like that in today's NBA, it's geared towards mostly offense, that's why teams shoot so many three's and they allow them to travel, I've seen highlights where players are literally taking 3 steps and there's no whistle blown for a traveling violation, games changed too much for me, I've started watching Japanese ping pong 🧖
@@MaximusWolfe Was it ever, imo that makes for great sports entertainment because they so badly want to beat one another, today's NBA there's nothing close as between two teams wanting to pounce on one another like back in the eighties Celtic's/Sixers, today players are out there warming up swapping spit, it's just changed too much for me,, I'm watching Yugoslavian Badminton now,,,,,,,🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
Stop it really ! The guy wasn't perfect !! He didn't hit every shot he took. And if I you need explanation on what the guy did to influence a basketball game without scoring 40 a night - then you just don't get it.
I agree. actual plays.. variety. feel for the game.. today feels like college ball and i never really liked college ball. actually college ball STILL run set plays more than the modern NBA
Oh yeah, we knew the odds of them winning were nil, if they had, would have been a major upset but the Bears were Men, the Pat's were little kids, no chance
@Gregory-sm9pf Regrettably, two days later, Space Shuttle Challenger was lost 73 seconds after liftoff, killing seven astronauts, including Christa McAuliffe.
