Why would olie woodson make such a tacky comment about replacing Dennis Edwards in the group. That's not what the Temptations were all about or the family spirit that they had within the group. Then when he entered the group he was more than happy enough to steal most of the songs that Richard was the lead vocalist on for years. So there is very little respect if any for olie.
Dennis Edwards pretty much got himself kicked out of The Group. He was become chronically late and that got Otis Williams (The Only Surviving Original Member) very angry. Also Dennis got a bit cocky after "Don't Look Any Further" but instead of remembering that "One Solo Hit Record Does Not A Career Make" he thought he was the Group's Shining Light. He didn't remember what happened to David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks and in his own way paid the price as well.
Porsha Alexander you don’t know what you are talking about. Get your fact right. Ollie was joking a round maybe he has premonition ? But The Temptations and The Four Tops travels together on the road all the time . And they did that all the times between each other. Dennis did that on his own not show up and other thing. Some lead singer get the big head. And Ollie did not steal song from Richard. Ollie Woodson Main did song that he wrote and song that fix his voice. Richard was not good on a lot song. He didn’t have that extra voice to lead.. Ollie Woodson Put the Temptations back on Top with Hit after Hit with song he wrote. For 13 years. . When he got sick Otis keep his spot for him .
