Very good video, i like the lack of useless commentary. I hate the recent trend of videos of people pointing at things and twisting their fingers around. You show all the work and how things are done. This is one of my favorite square body videos.

Thanks for that. The same chalk mark is also on the front differential cover. That is interesting to know. That truck was probably built and out the doors by 7am. Did you work at a plant that built these trucks?
I wished I could do this on my own with your confidence. My coolant is puddling on the backside of the engine block. I have been told its the intake manifold. However I did have a question. You changed just about every gasket and ring, was there a reason you didnt check the thermostat? Its no biggie, you knew what you were doing. I was just curious. I will be watching this video multiple times so I can fix mine. Appreciate your hard work!
Excellent work on that square body. But if you had to replace intake gaskets why didn't you just give it an upgraded high-rise intake and a K&N air filter. It's better for the engine if it breathes better. Anyway, I love these trucks, and it's nice to see one still as close to original as possible.
This truck is painfully slow and some performance upgrades would do it some good but it does run like a sewing machine so I am going to keep it stock and just putt around town in it. Its pretty cool to open the hood and the engine compartment looks like it just left the factory in Detroit.
