Larissa & Vera were actually the very first real superstars in gymnastics. Those 2 put gymnastics into popularity first. But then Olga came into the picture & she put a new level of difficulty in gymnastics. Fantastic!
The difference between athletes from the western world and the countries behind the curtain is , the western world athletes are driven by $$$ and the ones behind the curtain are driven by their passion and love for their sport artistry and loyalty to themselves training for their people and country ..... and their passion for their people and country ...... representing their people and country is the riches ......
