The Seahawks blow out the mighty Broncos on their way to their 1st division title ever. Steve Largent also gets a piece of Mike Harden, as a payback for his Week 1 knockout in Denver. Missing a few minutes at the end of the game.
I loved Mike Patrick & Joe Theismann on the call for NFL games🌟🌟🏈🎙☝️☝️ ~ VERY underrated team, I thought, and one of the premier 📺🏈pairings of the late ‘80’s and early ‘90’s!
On top of the Largent hit, Mike Harden was also knocked out of the game briefly by a Brian Blades block, and steamrolled by a John L. Williams run in the 3rd quarter. Plus his team gets knocked out of the playoff hunt. Rough day at the office for Mr. Harden.
I'd love to see the wild shootout win over the Raiders that clinched that first division title the week after this game. It would be quite a while before us Seahawks fans would see the second title, or any kind of playoff appearance. :-/
I hope Mike Harden got the number of the truck that buried him around 56 minute mark or so. Number 80 gave him a first hand lesson in the Biblical concept of “sowing and reaping” (Gal. 9:6-7) in retaliation for the shot he had put on Largent in week 1 back in Denver!
I was born in 1973 in Seattle, where I grew up. Japanese-American. I remember Seahawks Ron Lee got ejected for a fight. Can anybody tell me where that is in this game?
Ken Bering was a sneak thief , a liar and a back stabber . He came into Seattle with every intention to take our football team just like that SOB that took our Sonics . Same game plan . Start by destroying a great winning team then demand the city build him a new facility to make his money in . When we said no to his extorsion he tried to spirit them away to LA in the middle of the night . That was of course his goal all along . God bless you Paul Allen ! RIP !!!
Hell yes. Behring set the team back horribly. Ordered Knox be fired, the release of Krieg without a viable replacement and even the great defensive group that was broke up after 92. When Behring took over the tickets were sold out the first 3 years, by 1994 games were being blacked out because of that guy. RIP Paul Allen! Thank YOU
If the Raiders would have beaten Seattle at home in wk 17, they, Sea and Den would have all been 8-8, and the Raiders would have won the division. But noooo 😂
Seeing Behring on the sidelines always makes me want to puke. That shady bastage did everything he could to move the Seahawks to LA, hurt the team immensely and set them back 10 years. Fired Knox, the only winning coach they had with only 2 losing 7-9 seasons he replaced him with Flores going lame duck, released Krieg without a replacement, drafted Rick Mirer who couldn't throw past 20 yards before finally grabbing Erickson who mediocred the team to a few 8-8 seasons until Paul Allen SAVED Seattle and turned the whole thing around.
