Today we are swapping a 1990-1991 Acura Integra manual B18A1 into a 1988 automatic civic. To make the swap emissions compliant you'll have to first start with contacting your local authority to verify any swaps legality. For us we needed an engine equal to or newer than the chassis we plan to install it. We also need to match the emissions components to those needed for the newer engine rather than the year of the car. Using an engine and OEM computer from an OBD0 era allowed for an easy transplant. USE Discount Code "HowtoSwap" to receive discounts on all the swap parts needed and used in this video.
