1988 Mack CF Fire Engine Restoration | First Start in 6 Years 

This truck here. This put out my house fire in 1994 in the city of Bethlehem. along with a Neiboring fire 2 blocks away . The memories of thies old engines goes on and way back rip reserve 1 the old engine 1. And then befor the 11 I know it’s still runnin strong them cats keep purrin forever ..

As someone that ran on a 1981 Mack CF, and a 1991 Mack CF/Grumman, they truly have a place in my heart. The old Mack's were/are workhorses. Nothing made today will hold up. We were lucky to reaquire our 81 CF (she was maintained in beautiful condition thankfully, a legit collector). Yet to this day, if I had to choose the 81 Mack, or our new engine (lets just say Pierce) to show up to a working fire and have everything work 100% correctly, I would put my money on the 81 CF all day everyday, hell even today with her as our show piece, I would rather have her pump than anything else.

I live in Bethlehem Township, I remember seeing this around the city. Can't wait to see it restored

I love it! I actually purchased a 1978 CF686 back in October and have been scrounging for any sort of information on them. I have the full history of the truck but now I need any information I can find on how to fix them. But it's awesome to see this video and I'll definitely be looking forward to more!
