In this video, we bring the Mack back East to where it will be parked for restoration. The shipper is running a 1985 Mack MH with an Aluminum Step Deck Trailer. The frame was stretched and work was finished the night before shipping, just in time. We also take the Mack on the road for the first time in 6ish years, and man does that turbo sing!

What a beautiful Mack! I'd love it if you did a super long driving video of it out on the road, running up and down through the gears, cruising, etc. with just that Mack engine singing! Does this one have an Allison HT740 automatic? If so that's my all time favorite Allison transmission! Please let me know ASAP.

Unknown the Transmission model number, but I believe it is a Mack Trans.

And from the way it shifts, it leaves me to believe it's an HT740 4 speed Allison. And you'll do that driving video of it out on the road, right?

well you can tell that was a city truck. Based on the hose bed I looks like it does not have a on board water tank.

It actually does! The diamond plate extension behind the deck gun is a 500 gallon tank

It is rumored that this rig was built by Ward 79 Ltd as a Demo for FDNY. FDNY liked the craftsmanship and the quality, but not the Spec. It was then sold to Bethlehem from Micro Fire Apparatus.
