I see NFL Films fancied the "Blueprint for Victory" tagline for their team videos in this era, since they used the same title for the 1987 Dallas Cowboys highlight video. It turned out both teams needed different blueprints, or were given the wrong ones.

They were previewing a ton of players who had no impact on 1989: Gary Anderson held out, Mark Vlasic was gone for the year. Mark Malone played for the Jets. Lionel James wouldn't be around for 1989. They should have just focused on the 6 wins in 88 and the fact that Dan Henning's head coaching record in Atlanta was awful. "San Diego Chargers fans, you have more years of losing to look forward to watching until Dan Henning is fired in 3 or 4 seasons. Enjoy."

Dan Henning had a awful first season Coaching the Bolts as they went 5-11 and in the offseason hired Bobby Beatherd as GM. DH lasted 2 more mediocre seasons before getting fired after 1991 and Bobby Ross came in.
