Budapest in 1989 was still a country behind the Iron Curtain, with a lot of old trams, trolleybuses, the world's oldest metro, local railways, inclines, one from 1870, and the pioneer railway 760 mm gauge ..... .
That was just so amazing to watch! The never ending stream of UVs unimaginable these days, lines 67 and 44 still in operation, even the reversing loop of line 44 and 56 in all their glory... This is just a treasure trove of past views that cannot be recorded any more. Thanks so much for sharing!
Thank you very much for sharing these old memories. Also, if there is a chance for subtitles, that would be awesome as well. It would be interesting to understand your thoughts.
Such an incredible recording, thank you! I was 1 at the time, recently became obsessed with old footages. The RU-vid algorithm just showed me this one, which is odd. I can speak some basic Norwegian, so I have a *some* idea of what are you talking about, but regardless of that, would you please consider adding some subtitles in English? I would gladly translate that further to Hungarian, as we would really like to hear your thoughts from back then.
very good and complex footprint of that age public transport and unrepeatable. I drove trams between 2010 and 12. it would worth to make some digital adjustments on the video like deinterlacing at least. thank you for the upload from Budapest!
