1989 Honda CR125R engine rebuild 

Had a 1987. Bought it used from original owner. Raced it for two years and tons of practice hours before the crank finally gave out. Loved that bike.

Rebuilding same motor, 89 cr 125. Two questions. Motor oil leaking into cylinder out exhaust manifold, could this be crank seal on the clutch side? Also any source recommendations for parts that have been goos for you? First 2 stroke timer over here.

Hey man i have a 83 125 right now and my clutch cover+water pump is corroded. Where did you get that cover from?

Did you send the case and covers off on this bike to have them refinshed or did you find new ones somehow?

Beautiful work and may I ask you a question.? I have two 89 cr125s and both of my left hand cases have horrible chain slap from being run without the chain guard. There to bad for repair so need to find replacements. I know 87-88 won't work because they widened the gear box in 89 but I can't get anyone to verify If any other years from 90 and up will work, if you have any input I'd highly appricate it an thank you for the video

Hey do you happen to know where you got the torque specs for the engine bolts ?

I am rebuilding the same bike, my starter keeps clicking on the way back up. What am I doing wrong here? Is the nipple not in the slot correctly? Help. Teeth seems fine. Just don’t want to touch the clutch plates in order to take out the gear
