My Dad had a 34’ Mainship from Catawaba Island for many years and enjoyed it lots with friends and family. It was like a member of the family!

I owe one ... they are very cool live aboards. The interiors were very modern for 89' and 90' The mediterraneans were a little ahead of their time with syle & appeal

You just placed on my watch list! Your place number is : 7. Gotta say, this has my eye more than the others. I'm waiting for a few things to come through before I choose. Might be 2-3 months. If you're still around then, you may be moved to number 1. I really like the 80's feel in the design! Going to have to snag a deck hand to get you through the Welland Canal to Lake Ontario though because they won't let you go through solo....... Very nice! I M N Luv! ♥♥

Would seem like a good value live aboard for someone who is happy to potter and renovate as they want to. These videos don't really show enough detail, but I would think it does show that it's worth a look if you are in the market for an economical cruiser

Yes. Most people try to find diesel engines to do the loop with due to their fuel efficiency. However you could definitely do it with gasoline as well.

No need for the layout comment as I did not build the boat, and can't do anything about the layout. It is extremely difficult to hold the phone while trying to open the engine. This boat is just about ready to start falling apart and who wants to do any refitting to this old thing? Doing an engine swap on this is a suicide mission 😢
