Tiny Tim interviewed on Australian TV by Bert Newton - 1989 

Quite the gentleman, legend in his own lifetime, stood out more than most in the 60's, a true one off, cheers Tiny!

He seemed the true gentleman no matter what decade.

He was a true believer in Jesus,and was never ashamed to name the name of the Savior Jesus the “Christ”.

The more I learn about Tiny Tim, beyond the surprise hit of "Tulips" and his Carson show wedding, the more I am honestly impressed with him. The medley he performs in this appearance is indicative of his depth of knowledge of popular old songs, from vaudeville, tin pan alley, and even earlier, is really incredible. And he does a great job of performing them - he really is talented! If you are intrigued by this aspect of Tiny Tim, be sure to check out the video if his Luna Park Marathon, which essentially was a 2-hour long medley of well over a hundred songs. The video may not be on RU-vid but can be found online. It is an incredible (if a little tiring) thing to see!

Tiny Tim was an authentic eccentric; a pity that his idiosyncrasies hindered his career and business sense.

my mom met Tiny Tim in 1989 she was working at a gift shop in Galveston and he was buying a shirt she said
