What a shame.. This is one of the best rookie classes in NHL history and few collectors are even aware of it... Bondra (not in the HOF) scored 500 goals, Mogilny (NOT in the HOF) potted 76 goals in one season, Roenick scored 500 (NOT in the HOF)... This class gets absolutely no love... This set and these players are an afterthought to many with the exception of Jagr - if you ask a typical 12-year old hockey fan/collector who any of these guys were - they would say "who"?..... And it's sad because this set and class is absolutely loaded Jagr, Rorenick, Sundin, Mogilny, Modano, Bondra, Blake, Joseph - then you have guys like Stevens, Ricci, Nolan and others like Domi and a few other tough guys... Oh, and keep in mind this is a small set so that's why you're getting so many great cards... When a set is only 200 cards you're going to get plenty of doubles, lol - unlike a baseball set with 792 cards. where you could break a box and still not be guaranteed any of the major rookies....
Awesome cards so far in the box, definitely worth the price tag on that box. One of the only boxes from that era that actually has value. Thanks for sharing!
Oh here we go! I have the set back in Canada. This brings back great memories of hunting one pack at a time. Never had a box of any kind, any sport or non sports until last year in my 40's lol.
Yeah, what a set!!! Lol, I never had a box of these either 🤣. I don’t really remember seeing these until years after they came out. I opened a whole bunch of packs in the mid ‘90s and all I wanted was the Sundin. I never found one. I’m thrilled that it was the first big name we found here. Thank you for watching my friend 😁

Yes, the Lowe was unfortunate. This has been a great box though!!! And I agree, probably the best Jagr RC. Definitely my favorite Jagr card as well. My favorite in the set is the Sundin. I just love the shot and in that awesome Nordiques sweater. Thank you for watching 😁

Too bad about the Lowe rookie. I really like the way this set looks. My dad collected the whole set when he was a kid and it is still in his binder from back then. Lots of great rookies. Such a great rookie loaded set. As you seemed to notice, I’d say more than any other set I’ve ripped, a high percentage of cards look absolutely perfect right out of the pack. Great stuff!

I love this set, but unfortunately - besides for the Jagr - these cards don't hold anything close to the value or prestige they once had... Also, if you like early 90's hockey and want a challenging project - 90-91 Upper Deck has hologram variations. Yea, there are 5 different variations (carrot, comic ball, UD, 90-91 and hockey stick) with the carrot and comic ball being the rarest. I've been collecting them and the carrot's and comic balls are pretty rare - I'd say only 5% are one or the other with the other 90% being a pretty equal mix of the Upper Deck, 90-91 and hockey stick hologram backs... Anyway, considering there is almost nothing scarce from the era to collect I figure I would share the hologram variations if any collectors are looking for a challenge.

Great set. So many awesome rookies. Shame the Jagr is the only desirable one with all the hall of fame talent in this set. They took some great photos for the cards too.
I think Kelly Miller was a better all around player. Nedved was very highly touted. He really needed to be surrounded by other top players in order to be good, like his days in Pittsburgh
I'm not sure how your box happened or how the packs happened. Not sure how to put it. It's been widely known that Roenick and Jagr were always in the same pack, yet yours were not. I've bought many packs and have pulled 8 Jagrs, hence 8 Roenicks. It was the tell-tale sign you got the great pack because Roenick was the 3rd or 4th card and Jagr was 6th. Just weird how those packs went.
