This is it time to drop the fuel tank on this old Honda that has been sitting for over a decade. I'm pulling out the the fuel pump this is the last thing left to trouble shoot
i have a 92 accord a friend gave me, hes got 6k in labor in it alone (hes a honda tech) he got tired of messing with the car so i pulled the fuel filter and checked it, some nasty stuff came out and the gas smelled old so im gonna pull the fuel tank and clean it and check the pump, he said the fuel tank was cleaned out when he had it and he replaced some fuel lines and wiring but the gas smelled old, maybe it was just something left over in the line but i wanna flush it all and convert her to a manual and make her into a sleeper, will be a fun project car
Look up fuel relay switch I bought one for my 93 but didn’t need it. Replace all sensors and electronics, iac valve, fast idle control valve, EGR valve, distributor, ignition coil pack, and check your ignition switch inside your steering column. Everything I named has been problems on Hondas. With new air and fuel, there’s no reason a fuel injected car won’t start.
Seriously the car sounds like it’s turning over but it will get no fuel. Sometimes it’s the ignition switch and/or the lock. I had to do it on . my 93.
