Nice well presented video. Thanks for posting. One thing you missed is the flare (for emergencies) mounted on the passenger's side next to the console. Visible at about 20:30. Thanks by the way for answering some questions. I bought the front cut section of one of these to use most of the parts in a hot rod I am building. I didn't know what the A/D switch did (now I know), how to change the display (the switch is in Japanese). My 1/2 cut has 80,000 kilometers on it so the engine runs very well. Its a pity someone cut it up as it would have been nice to own it as a whole car. Very advanced for their era.
I own a Toyota Crown Royal Saloon A/T 1991, S130 Model GS131, Engine 1G-FE 2000cc DOHC 24 valves, Silver color, interior seat Maroon color, full leather dashboard with analog meter, not digital meter as yours, telescopic & tilt steering, driver's power seat, power sliding rear seat, auto A/C, auto swing front A/C middle vent, rear A/C vent, rear small fridge, same model as yours but the windows are not frameless, your Toyota Crown is hardtop model, the back rear light model is different too, my Crown has Red light on upper side, Yellow light and backward light on down side, this Toyota Crown model is really awesome, I'm in Jakarta, Indonesia....
How expensive was this thing when it released? It has so many awesome options for a 1989 car! Swing vent, the dashboard, the screen etc. My Corolla Verso from 2003 that was 25k doesn't even have this...
Hey I wanted to buy a 1990 crown royal saloon v8 but the steering was very stiff is that normal? The owner told me the steering used to be right hand drive idk if that has to do with it, is there a fix?
Hahaha until this moment American manufacture cannot get close to this car, specially Cadillac 😂, to me personally I would rather pay $80,000 Toyota Corolla & not pay $5000 the newest Cadillac or Lincoln or chrysler product
What a beautiful car , thanks for your effort. And by the way you forgot about the lights and cooling vents at the back ,as a kid I considered it the most impressive thing in the car .
