Thousands of makeup tutorials by influencers on RU-vid and yet I keep coming back to these old and real tutorials to enhance and update my makeup skills.
@@kellyhenderson9972 yeah my makeup didn’t look like that in the 90’s nor did any of my friends. What I mean by ahead of its time was how seamless it looked. Most of the makeup I remember from the 90’s was caked on and looked like everyone was wearing an orange mask or their makeup (if they were a person of color) was a few shades too light.
So true Im applying this makeup while watching the video (using cheaper non American products😅) and you can 100% still wear this look. Every step she does is still pretty.
@@lolagonvieve7388 a lot of normal everyday people don't use all that though. just because beauty influencers like using 100 different products it doesn't reflect what the average woman uses unless you're someone who's very into makeup. this video is would actually be closer to what most of us wear, basic simple and quick for before school and work. ain't nobody got time to do full beauty routines in the mornings, if u do its a privilege
The model is already so pretty, even this makeup routine without concealer, primer, highlighter, bronzer, she looks so good. I wonder if it'd work the same for people who don't already have amazing skin.
Ahh so amazing and nostalgic and that model is so gorgeous and just SIGH!!! 😍Ultimate 90s fave makeup look, brown smokey eye, lighter lid, dark brownish-berry lipstick… loveeeee 🥰🥰🥰😩😩
Omgggg! I so wish she had mentioned which shades she used… I have a palette full of old shadows and blushes from early 90s Mac, that I can’t find ANY information on! Gahhh to pick her brain! (And her brushes!) 😂❤
Wow!! This is a time capsule. I wish they listed the products that were used. Especially the lipstick, I wonder if it's one of the old shades that are still around today. The seven lipstick finishes are most likely frost, satin, glaze, matte, cream, sheer, and tone. A few of them were phased out a long time ago!
Back in the 90s the red called "parmount" was super popular, along with the deep brown red viva glam shade - and both are still available today! I've been looking at some old makeup content and those were mentioned quite a bit 🤗
