So many in these audiences are not applauding everyone one of these fantastic athletes... It's like they can not grasp the amount of work they've invested.

Dear Sir, do you happen to have by any chance a copy of 1992 Olympic Games Men Weightlifting 75Kg ? I guess you uploaded it a few years ago and i watched it online, it was being comented by a russian voice. but now as i try to find it, i can't see it anywere around the web. I would deeply appreciate your help if i could find it again. Thank you!
Olympics 1992 WeightLifting in Men's -82,5kg Class definitely the only one as the Winner until 8th place just 7,5 kg deficit and Ibrahim Samadov Medal Refusal was the only History ever an Athelete refuse the Medal and he ended up Disqualification and the Bronze Medal finally didn't given to 4th place
He may be the only individual Olympian to refuse a medal, and perhaps the only person to make the refusal at the ceremony. The US basketball team in 1972 refused to appear at the ceremony for their silver medals. At least one team member has it in their will that they forbid any descendant from accepting the medal.
Sergei Lee still lives in fromer Soviet Kyrgyz Republic, he has two daughters and one grandchild =) Yes, in 1985 he was in Australia, and he got silver! About Arsamakov...they could meet in one official competition, so he did beat Israil Arsamakov in 1987 USSR championship: Sergei Lee (8:40 - 9:50 min) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-exS4m2NDaSA.html
Wow that was shitty of the Russian. I do think that the Greek got favorable judging, as the announcer kept saying his arm was bent. He kept the weight up with a bent arm and it was like the judges just felt like giving it to him even tho his arm wasn't completely locked on at least 2 lifts. He didn't even squat down as far on some lifts, especially on his last lift he failed, he didn't go down at all which is why they red lighted the lift. I think the Russian refused because of his ego and not because of the judging. At any rate he didn't even have silver, he was behind the pole fair and square.
Do you have a source on that? It's known as one of the most unsportsmanlike moments in modern Olympic history for a reason; Samadov was given a chance to explain himself yet was unable to do so, which is why it was officially stripped from him.
