I was there. 13 years old. I’ll never forget my uncle made a sign that said “Anybody Can beat the Cornhuskers” with a capitalized emphasis on “ABC” as to try to make it on TV. Good times. Good memories.
Lol. That wasn't the case back then was it? They had a 60-3 run so like no one was beating the huskers back then. What a shadow of their former selves.
Great game for UCLA, Nebraska was looking past them. Fortunate to win with all those turnovers. But look how good Nebraska ends up the season! Go Big Red!
The year Nebraska finally turned the corner and was able to compete with the florida teams. The 93 Huskers may be the best college team to not win a championship.
