This game is one of the most memorable Sunday night games imo. One of those nights where the the combination of Al and Chris and a snowy football field on a cold November night just hits different.
@@zack3931 imo this win from Osweiler made that season more special because Broncos wouldn’t have had the 1st seed without it. Then we got Peyton vs Tom in the Playoffs
Emmanuel Sanders was so reliable during all of his years in Denver. Dude literally caught EVERYTHING that was thrown his way. One of the all time most slept on signings in Denver history.
I completely agree. You can even see how the offense changed when Sanders got signed, Manning didn't have somebody he could rely on until Sanders was signed. DT, although I love him, fumbled in the open field and dropped so many key passes. Sanders made that offense effective and reliable, the exact kind of receiver Manning needed.
@@TheBanditBren minus julius thomas or decker, i agree. DT was very reliable, earlier in the year during that 2015 season, he was catching a pass from Manning on the left side of the field and his hand got smashed between two helmets. That’s why he was dropping a lot of passes a lot that season. Dude played hurt all year.
Cj Anderson was so underrated, I really don't think he got enough love. Without him, I don't think denver would of even made it to the super bowl that year.
@@GrassValleyGreg they simply didn't need him they had von and d-ware once barrett got his chance he did well and then barett wanted his money not much the broncos could of done other than pay him better than the bucs
this made me think of the last game vs the chargers. we were looking terrible and then Peyton came in and gave us new life and lead us to a W to seal our playoff fate
This was the most pivotal game and put Denver in position to take the 1 seed. I crashed my truck driving to this game in the nasty blizzard that hit the day before, best Bronco game I've ever been to.
I Remember EVERY GAME from this year. This game in particular, I got off work at Eegees and came home to watch me Broncos, I had a blunt and some beers and my Manning Jersey on watching this game. Its crazy, like when you're football team does good you actually have a GREAT YEAR. Ever since 2016 like has been going backwards for me. But this year we look good and so does my Future!
It’s crazy you say that because something about this year was special and not just cause my team won the chip but life just felt different and it’s been downhill since. Like you said though cheers to the future !
@@scruffd0g193 I actually wanted him to start after Manning but he got Butt hurt that Manning came back to take them into the Super Bow. So we beat his ass in Houston hahah
I remember watching this game, what a contest. This made me realize how good Denver's defense was, bc NE only scored one touchdown where they had to drive the entire field. And they ended New England's undefeated season
I was at this game and the atmosphere after that muffed punt was insane. Games like these are why people should go to games when they get a chance instead of watching from home
I was at this game and hollered at my aunt, “we’re going to win the Super Bowl”… which is something haters say that broncos fans say all the time. But damn if I wasn’t right…
watched this game live at home from beginning to end and I'm so glad I did. one of the greatest Sunday night games that the whole nation got to witness.
One of the most memorable days for all of Colorado, and Manning fans everywhere. This was the game, that let us know we were taking #SuperBowl50 and nothing less would be accepted.
As a broncos fan this is one of my favorite games I’ve ever watched ! The excitement of Anderson running into the end zone realizing we beat Tom Brady with our backup quarterback. Brings back great memories!
Man I remember this game. Defense really kept us in the game. CJ was so good in this game and was really good for us during his tenure. Emmanuel was Emmanuel! Brock was really solid, stood tall and showcased his arm strength. I really liked Brock and was so hopeful that he would take over when Peyton retired. Was shocked he chose to leave. Oh...this was our best collection of LBs in several years, before and since.
I was sitting in the glass box with all these rich ppl that wasn't even watching the game, I was looking down and see how crazy everybody was and thinking to myself I would have rather been down there instead, a game I will never forget. Bronco country lets ride...
I listened to this on the radio in the homeless shelter with the staff. The heavy snow was just starting to come in and then it got SUPER cold. It was a memorable moment from those days.
I took my father-in-law to this game: he's a lifelong Broncos fan, but he had never been to a game before... that was probably the coldest I have ever been at a football game, but we loved every minute of it!
I was at this goddamn game and not only did it keep going and going through the snow and artic cold, but I despised CJ Anderson for years after the way it ended.
This is my favorite regular season football game of all time that CJ Anderson touchdown at the end I still feel it that feeling in my soul when I think about it
I WAS THERE, WITH MY PARENTS FOR THIS EPIC SUNDAY NIGHT GAME! WITH MY LITTLE GOOD LUCK CHARM AND A FEW POSTERS THAT SPELL OUT THE NETWORK THAT CARRIED THE GAME!!!!!
Patriots were undefeated. My Broncos had some doubt since manning was hurt. But the fans stayed the course and trusted in our defense…. And with good reason. Patriots lost most of their games after this, PLUS we beat them in the AFCC game… I remember the feeling that no matter who we played I had no fear. This game solidified that. We won the Super Bowl. What a beautiful year
Damn this hit home. What a game. I still remember DT just being off the whole night but that catch 1 on 1 over the top of the defender was what that man did best. Could never count him out. RIP to one of the Bronco greats
Still can’t believe I went to this game, even was on the field during halftime helping out with the PP&K. One of my best memories with my dad. It was COLD as balls, didn’t get out of Denver for 3 hours because of the snow.
I remember watching this game. Patriots had control of the entire game until the end. Some questionable calls at the end. This one of Patriots strongest teams and they were riding an undefeated season into this game. This game ultimately decided home field for the AFC Championship rematch and who would win the superbowl.
I was sick during this game, losing weight and in and out the hospital but I still got up to celebrate this win lol It was the first time I was happy in weeks
I'll never forget this game..I was the #1 seed in my fantasy league playing 1 of the worst teams and I was winning big time.. he started Anderson and Hillman as his rb1 and rb2.. and I lost by 4 points after CJ's td run in ot..I couldn't believe he started 2 guys from the same team and ended up winning..I was still happy to see the patriots lose tho
What? This is literally known as one of the best defenses of all time. They were a sb fav going into the year they checked every box just had a corpse and an idiot playing qb all year.
@@xema1659 OK?????? u f*cking id*ot. i was disproving the notion they were underappreciated talent. i was just stating how incredibly talented they were. peyton only started noticeably dropping off mid season. everyone knew even with the qb situation the team was a sb contender.
This game cost me $8k !!!!!!!! Had 2 20 team parlays AS WELL as a 15 team teaser and this was this last one I needed. NE by 3 and +3.5 on the teaser ticket. DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!! Stop muffing punts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤦🏽♂️
Dang I was so sad!! I so wanted Brady to have another undefeated season like in 2007 but winning the SB but Denver was just too much. Osweiler and Peyton had their way against them. Sweet gostkowski kick though at the end of regulation !
I remember watching this game and going crazy. I do remember being upset with the refs but Haper the kick returner cost us the game with that fumble in the 4th qt. Great game! But nothing tops the AFC Championship
Mannn if that muffed punt didn’t happen, we more than likely lose this game, the AFC championship is in foxboro and Super Bowl 50 woulda been Patriots vs Panthers
