The original pump was not working any longer. I took it apart and was not able to fix it. I ended up purchasing a new pump and install. Now the steering works great.
Great instructions and details on the repairs to your Ford 5030 tractor. I currently own a Ford 3930 with 60 gross horsepower two wheel drive and it has a little trouble pulling my 7 foot wide tandem disc harrow so I was looking at the 5030 model that has the four cylinder engine with 72-75 gross horsepower. How do you like the power delivery on your 5030 tractor and what implements do you use with it and how does it handle them as far as power? Thanks, and keep the videos coming!
