How to disassemble and replace the orings in the power steering pump of a Ford 5030 tractor. Some the inner most orings are quite difficult to fit into the funny shaped grooves. It will require patience and perseverance or good luck.

Do you fill the canister completely up and what oil did you use?

I used hydraulic oil. Still going strong, and no leaks.

Hi I'm not sure you're fluent in french so I write in english. I take info on your video because I'd just replace my pump and no presure. I can see you have hollow part at the bottom ib the two 8 alloy shape. I made a mistake placing on the top. I change the same seals but I cut them and stick because nobody is working right now.. My pump is 10000 hours so I've got 0.15mm clearance into bearings. I reduced surface because my friend could'nt provide square seal to cut. I machine also the opposite surface to reduce lateral gap from 0.1 to 0.04mm. Mine is fitted with a valve and I placed 1mm washer under the spring-I'm gonna removed it because there is a 1mm hole inside the piston and may be it's a factory adjustment. May be you should have removed the sprocket because the 2 lip seals make grooves on the shaft and oil risk to be transfered into the engine oil. Otherwise you made a good job dans les régles de l'art.

Thanks for the info. After replacing the seals as shown in the video my power steering pump leak stopped. I haven’t had any issue with it so far.

@@DirtRoadAutoRepair OK you only have to control the level and if it goes down without any outer leak so it'll be internal. I've a look at a cross wiev from the back surface on a 4610. the hollow parts are located on the exit. So I sent oil from outer to inner. Now it's removed I'm going to check the presure valve if O ring if correct and running in the 2 surfaces each other, task I didn't finished
