I find that if you leave the power valve shaft drive clamp loose. Allows the foot to drop lower and can be easily seen. It's easy to adjust after.

Don’t know why I didn’t think of that actually. That’s a really good idea. Thanks a lot for the help and the tip. Sometimes that’s all it takes. Another set of eyes to see how it could be done. Thanks a lot for the comment and for reaching out

Watched every minute of the series until now. You have a great simple way of explaining things. I'm working on my 1995 CR 250 right now and it's been great following you along every step of the way. Thanks for doing what you're doing. Sure hope some UFO and all these companies you used to do the build start jumping on board and helping you out!

Thanks again for the support! UFO has stepped forward to hell a bit with the build and provided a few cool products we are going to show and test with Project 93 Hopefully some other manufacturers will let me do reviews on there products as well Thanks for the comment again and for the support. It really means a lot to me personally when people enjoy the content

Does Motion Pro give you a calibration spec for that wrench? In other words, you are changing the leverage aspect therefore changing the torque value and it can be quite a bit especially on a longer tool like that. On some other designs and manufacturers of similar tools, I've seen them with a torque adjustment spec. I do like that tool.
@Dirtbikerepair
@Dirtbikerepair 6 месяцев назад
They do, kinda. They give you a math formula to use the length of your torque wrench + the length of the tool. Divided by a number on a chart gives you what you need to set it at. It’s really easy and works really good actually

Have you run .001 ring gap before? Wiseco piston use .004 x per inch of bore for minimum ring gap
@Dirtbikerepair

I run what the piston manufacturer recommends for there piston.

For what reason would a piston have multiple rings? I put a Vertex in my CR250 and it was a single ring only. OEM piston is single ring as well.
@Dirtbikerepair
@Dirtbikerepair 6 месяцев назад
really, I'm pretty sure every CR250 I have ever done has always had 2 rings. 125 normally have 1 ring. I'm sure more rings would help with more compression . i will see what kind of info i can find from Honda and the other manufacturers.,.. not you have me wondering if i might be wrong though. Thanks a lot for the comment. hopefully i can find some more info on this for the both of us.

@@Dirtbikerepair Yeah I was thinking I got the wrong piston initially but when I got the OEM one out it only had a single ring so not too concerned. Mostly just curious.

B is the secound dimension of piston after piston A uear so B is bit larger than A mesurments
@Dirtbikerepair
@Dirtbikerepair 6 месяцев назад
Oh that makes sense.. I didn’t think of that since it has the dimensions right on the piston.
@narfer

Honda lists their pistons backwards. A is larger than a B piston. A= 66.330-66.338 B=66.323-66.330 But starting in 1997. Pre 97 only lists one piston. Dome to flat top pistons starting in 97 also. Along with a cylinder head change. So be aware if you use a dome piston. Remember to use the appropriate head and studs.
