to my surprise,I actually heard the single cam vtec turn on at 4,500 rpm. usually you can only hear the vtec turn on in the bigger twin cam models, then again I can hear Mivec turn on loud and noticeable in my 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander GT, it's got the single cam mivec but it is a V6 3.0 so that's probably why I can hear the mivec switch over.
Man you have good ears! I love hearing that vtec get rolling. Its a shame newer vehicles manufacture fake noises as engines are made quieter. I get it, but it still sucks.
@@thekhakiobserver3128 Thanks. Yea I know right,Older Vtec technology is perfect imo,Honda and others should've kept Vtec in newer cars as well but nowadays it's all about being 🤫 lol. I seriously never get tired of hearing Vtec crack open. it's hard to hear it on my Del sol sohc vtec engine but sometimes I do hear it nice and loud. I'm used to the twin cam Vtec's which are loud when vtec cracks. the Mivec is newer to me but boy are they loud when the cam switchover starts. crazy to hear an SUV with vtec type tech lol
nice video mate ... a quick question the temperature as I could see stop/works on the 6º indicator, correct? Better view of your panel was 8:39 after some time driving. I will be very to confirm that with you ...
Bought a Samba green 1994 SI a couple weeks ago. So far only things that needed fixing was all of the stupid ricer shit that the previous owner put on. He put one of those k&n air filters on and a super loud ebay exhaust.
Agreed! My brother had a similar year Miata I didn’t get to film. It was not as comfortable space wise and the engine did not sound as good as this Honda.
