I'm really impressed because Carl Lewis was nearing the end of his sprinting dominance by 1993. Granted he set a world record in the 100m in 1991 and anchored a gold medal winning and WR setting 4x100m in the Olympics in 1992, but those were his peaks. In 1993, he was four years in front of retirement and most of his dominance from here on out would be jumping, while Michael Johnson was three years in front of obliterating the WR in the 200m. Glad to see Lewis glide to victory in this instance. I wish he wasn't such a goober in his ridiculous music video and his goofy acting reels, and it would have been cool if he was more modest regarding his track accomplishments, but watching him run was a thing of beauty.
I do not agree ! Carl Lewis always had a innocent look from his days in Huston Univ. ! Michael Johnson (My favourite 200m runner ) at Baylor Univ. looked more rustic, Old fashion ' Uncle'' with his biiig moustache !

To this Channel : The photograph of the channel's name is from 1997 IAAF World championships in Athens ,when Ato Boldon won the 200m final with 20.04 sec wind = +2.4 m/s 🙂 Thus I conclude YOU ARE FROM TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO !🙂 Sherlock Holmes has solved the case 🙂
I watched a loooot of old athletics races ! Michael Johnson, NEARLY in AALL THE FEW 200m RACES HE LOST , WAS NOT IN THE FIRST PLACE OUT OF THE BEND 🙂 Thus If M. Johnson comes FIRST out of the turn then It's a 99% victory ! That Is CALLED SPEED ENDURENCE !
